"I went with DigMyPics instead of a lower-priced vendor because the latter sends slides to India for processing, which seems to me to up the risks of losing the slides considerably due to transportation issues. On my first batch of 270 slides DigMyPics did a fully satisfactory job of scanning, and their staff was highly responsive and helpful with all questions I had. Delivery times were very reasonable. I have just sent a second batch of 800 slides. I had high expectations going in, so I'm rating them a 4 instead of 5. I will use them again and won't hesitate to recommend them to friends."

"After my mother died in 2013, I ended up with a collection of 750 very precious family photos dating from the the 1920's-2013, as well as 1200 ft of 8mm home movies from the 50's-70's. I wanted to digitize all so my sibs could also have them, as well as to preserve them for posterity. I simply could not be happier with the whole process of working with digmypics to do this. Needless to say I had misgivings about shipping all this stuff off to Arizona, but the website gave me confidence that I was dealing with a totally professional operation, and gave me clear advice and instructions on how to organize, pack, and ship the collection. I was kept informed of every step of the process, and consulted about it several times. The results are truly breathtaking. The processing was phenomenal, and we now have pictures that are better than the originals, especially for the oldest photos from the 20's-40's. And the movies, which we watched countless times while growing up, are clearer than anything I can ever remember seeing, either on the old screen or in the VHS version that was made 20 or 30 years ago. The collection was returned to me, packed with the same care I had put into sending it to them. I probably could have had it all done more cheaply, but I would use digmypics again in a millisecond. Both the results and the customer service far exceeded my wildest expectations, and my sibs and I are grateful for the memories. "

"My parents moved in with me 3 years ago and just recently my mother passed away. I found old slides and negatives in their belongings that I was curious about. I found Digmypics online and read the testimonials past customers sent in, so I thought, why not take a chance. They did just as advertised. They received my order, logged them in, sent me an email so that I knew they arrived. Digmypics sends you the photos through email as they are being processed so you can view them.. It was amazing to see them before they were even in my hands.They keep you posted at each step and when they have fine tuned them in their office, they allow you to choose what you want up to 20% of which you can delete. I was ecstatic by their professionalism. I was considering buying my own processor/scanner to print them, but glad I did not, as the expense would have been too great and I would not have gotten the quality that they were able to give me. The whole process did not even take 2 weeks. I was worried about the cost, but considering what I would have paid to buy the equipment to do it, I leave it to the professionals because these pictures/memories were too precious to lose. Thanks Digmypics I got to relive some of my childhood. Look for my old movies and tapes as I will be sending them also to transfer for me."

"Digmypics scanned over 6000 slides for me in the past year. Each slide was scanned perfectly, ie. just as it appeared in my slide viewer. I had used two other scanning services in the past that, though a bit cheaper, cost more in the long run because I had to have at least 30 to 40% of their work redone. "After dealing with drug stores and super markets, who's personnel were unfamiliar with digitizing slides, or had requirements for submitting slides in their containers, which meant reviewing all the slides, requiring quite an effort when dealing with many slides (600+ in my case). With DMP, they have no such requirements. They accept slides in their original containers, develop all of them and have you review them on your own computer and edit any out that you didn't want, all at competitive pricing. After my review, the process went quickly. I received the package within a week. I called them with questions several times during the process and they responded helpfully and courteously. "

"If you are considering a photo or negative scanning job, you will be hard pressed to find a better option than DigMyPic. I'm in Canada, and was initially concerned about trans-border issues. Those were quickly dispelled. Once the photos arrived at DigMyPics, the e-mail updates were superb and the ability to see the scans as they were being created was fantastic. My emailed questions actually received prompt and helpful responses from real people with real names. The scans were being made in connection with a memorial service for my Dad, and the DigMyPic crew showed great sensitivity and compassion during a difficult period.
