"Gave my husband's family THE most incredible Christmas present by putting together a movie of old slides and pictures that spanned 50 years. With the music and the sheer number of photos (around 500) it was incredible! Most of the pictures had not ever been seen since they sat in trays of slides for decades! Watching it as a family on Christmas night was a gift they will never forget! Not a dry eye in the room and they are forever grateful to have these memories forever. Digmypics was the best. "Maybe the very best thing about this experience wasn't the end-result (perfectly good but which other companies might also deliver), but the presence of ever-helpful human beings at every step of the way. When I called, a person answered. When I had a question, someone could always be found with the knowledge to reply. When I wanted to modify the color correction on some slides, someone took the time to review the job with me and fix them. "When I found your website, I stopped shopping. I am amazed at the clarity and color and detail in all of these 1550 color slides dated from 1956. Most were 35mm, but many were something else. Apparently you cropped the "something elses" to appear as 35mm on the screen. These things NEVER appeared as professional with the old slide projector and grainy screen. "My family was lucky enough to have an 8 mm camera to take home movies in the 1950s and 60s. My Mom and I had edited the stack of 15 tapes down to an hour video many years ago. "I inquired to Digmypics about a large project that I had. I had about 438 pictures and slides of my Vietnam tour back in 1968-1969. I had them put everything together along with Vietnam era background music that I had chosen into a Custom Slide DVD Movie. Then I traveled to Kentucky and showed it to about 15 of my Vietnam buddies that had gathered for a reunion after 38 years. They all said that it was best that they had seen yet. "I am awestruck by the job DigMyPics did digitizing my very old Super-8 movie film. I was so afraid the film and it's many editing splices would be too brittle for their equipment, and the color too faded to make this expenditure worthwhile. Not! In addition to the included DVD, they made me a disk of editable video files for a small and very reasonable extra charge, so that I can rearrange and delete material and make a more optimal DVD."

"My father gave me the box of 35mm family slides that were taken between the early 60's and mid 70's. This was a huge job...over 2500 slides. I really had my doubts that these would turn out nice due to their age. They had been in hot, humid, dusty attics for 30 - 40 years. The staff at DigMyPics did a fantastic job with this. "In my first foray into using a service to digitize my photos, I entrusted DigMyPics with the 50 year old 8mm film of my wedding, a selection of 2X2 slides and some photos. All of the original materials came back to me intact and all of the digital versons were of the highest quality. What a pleasure to see the detail in those slides! How faithfully those photos were reproduced! The film was grainy and contrasty, but good enough and probably the best that could be done within the limitations of the original. Colors were faithful. I have several hundred more items to prepare for digitization in the future and I will rely on DigMyPics for those jobs. It's been great fun!"
