"I have over 3000 slides from my parents spanning almost 30 years of our family memories. I once tried to scan them myself but it was too big of a job and I wasn't getting good image quality with store bought scanners. I was reluctant to just send all of these invaluable slides to some random place and take the risk of losing them or having them damaged. I found digmypics online and finally decided to give it a shot. Wow! They were very responsive and clearly know what they're doing! The website made it easy to place my order and everything went smoothly. They even responded quickly to my email when I found a handful of slides after my original shipment to them. No sweat, they added them right into the order. I loved being able to track progress and see the scans as they progressed. In the end I have soft copy, printed album and online download of all 3444 pictures! I ordered three sets so I can surprise my mom and sister. I can't express enough how happy I am to finally have these slides come back to life and I have digmypics to thank for it. One of my main concerns was getting the slides returned in order so that they stay organized. I received my shipment and sure enough everything was returned exactly as how I sent them. They took every single slide out of it's plastic sleeve to do the job and put them back in the same order. I'm very happy with the results and I strongly recommend digmypics to anyone wanting to bring old memories back to new life!"

"Between 1962 and 1978 most of my photos were developed into 35mm slides, which were outstanding but required a lot of preparation to display the images on a large screen, using an electric slide projector. The end-result was that the photos were rarely displayed. Fast forward to 2018, and I sent 660 slides to DigMyPics to be converted to a digital format. The result is excellent. I am particularly impressed to find that some of the images that I thought were of marginal clarity have been enhanced by the conversion process. For example: Images of a Mexican sarape weaver which contains various shades of gray wool, now has new life because the different shades of color are now much clearer. Images of bullfights taken by an ordinary 35mm camera are impaired by the reflective sunlight on the bull ring, but the digital images enhance the clarity of the toro and the toreador (to the extent possible). A number of the images on the slides were faded by excess light. After conversion to digital format, some of them were greatly enhanced. I made one mistake. I neglected to order a thumbnail album to serve as a "Table of Contents" of the discs. The thumbnail album is a "must" for this type of DVD. Fortunately, it was a mistake that was easily corrected by a phone call. "

"We sent all of our old photos in the old slide trays. Digmypics kept us fully posted as they processed our slides and the final selection of which slides we wanted to keep was painless. Everything was returned along with the digital pictures on a cd. I was able to quickly copy the digital files to my hard drive. It was joy to see some of our old family pictures that I have not seen in 45 years since our slide projector broke. "

We knew this would be an insurmountable task for us to scan them so we would all have copies, so based upon reviews, and the added bonus of having our priceless photos remain in the US, we sent about 1,000 photos to Digmypics. We were all very pleased with the service and the outcome, especially given that we had so many different sized pictures as well as full album pages (from which I was unable to remove the photos). We sent a second batch too, and are in the process of organizing slides to have them scanned. Each sibling will be able to have a complete set. We are very happy!!"

"Our decades-long photographic legacy is mostly on 35mm slides. We did some scanning ourselves with a scanner we bought. We sent about 100 slides to digmypics as a test for converting our entire library. The process and status updates were just as they described. The results are significantly better than our own. We'll be sending them the rest (as long as each batch is done just as well). It took about a month from sending our slides to receiving the results. It seems long but if we hadn't sent them in, they'd still be sitting on a shelf. A month is much less than never. Recommended. (I have nothing to do with digmypics or its staff except as a paying customer. I picked them out of several outfits I found on the web based on their web sites.)"

"To start with the end product of the digital images are excellent and the enhancements to the basic digital that come with the service improved the images especially with the older photos. I have been very happy with the service. The people at digmypics were friendly, patient with my questions and met my deadlines. The emails letting me know where we were in the process, how they were getting paid and when and the shipping to them went very well. The pricing is fair. This is not the least expensive firm and I liked that they spelled out what you get for your money. Having the work done in the US was also a bonus and added to the quality of the experience. I spent time selecting digmypics to provide me with the ability to store my family's photo gallery stretching back five generations and I would trust them again."
