"Digmypics did a beautiful job converting my dad's 35 mm slides to JPEGS. I had been storing 12 carousels of slides, plus the projector and screen, in my closets for years. I hated to throw out these treasures, but also knew that we never took the slides out anymore--it was just too much trouble. Meanwhile, they were deteriorating. Now they are fully restored and they look fabulous! I sent off copies to my siblings for Christmas. Yes, it was an investment, but well worth it. And now I have an empty closet!"

"Years ago I had my parents' old home movies transferred to VHS thinking to preserve them and see them again. The VHS tapes that were produced by another company were terrible; very little was recaptured and most of the tapes were blank. Based on that experience I was hesitant to try again, especially as the 8mm film rolls had only gotten older. I read about Digmypics, their pricing seemed very reasonable and I loved the guarantee so I figured it was worth a shot. Out of 900 feet of film, they recaptured 750 feet and I was astounded. The service was not only excellent quality considering the source (the 8mm film was at least 50 years old!) but they were professional, helpful on the phone and fast. Absolutely and highly recommend this company; if they can't do it, it can't be done."

"We had old 8mm films taken by my grandfather almost 60 years ago. They had been poorly stored and neglected for over half a century, yet digmypics did a wonderful job of transferring them. The barely lit interior scenes are bright enough that we can see everyone's face while the sunny beach scenes are not washed out. The speed at which people walk, dance, run around, and play (which was always a problem with 8mm - even when just using a projector back in the stone age) is natural. The DVDs they delivered allow our whole family to watch on any computer or television anywhere. All in all they did a terrific job and I would highly recommend them. "

"In 1974, I took two pictures of my wife on a camping trip. They were extemporaneous shots, catching her off-guard, and in rare poses. Just after I took them, I looked down and saw that somehow the aperture setting had been knocked off its designated place, grossly over-exposing the two shots. I knew from the beginning that the margin of error on Kodak slide film was narrow. The lab that developed the roll confirmed my fears: There was no way to obtain a suitable print, much less an enlargement. So I waited--42 years--and recently attended a digital photography seminar at the University of Houston, where they suggested trying digital scanning for similar situations. I rounded up a bunch of slides, including those two, and sent them off to digmypics. Service was first rate, and they managed to restore both pictures to an enlargeable state. Money well spent!!"
