"I knew after looking at my film that the success of the conversion to DVD was doubtful. I sent it off and was contacted by Casey, and that he would give it a try anyway. Casey did his best but the film was too far gone. They returned it and did not charge me anything, including the return postage. Give these guys a try. The best part, however, is the way digmypics.com gives the customer updates on their progress--when they receive the product and when they will send it back. Also, they sent the sldes back carefully organized in plastic sleeves to be put in a binder. Also, they sent 2 copies of the pictures on disks instead of one. "I used this brilliant service when I needed to have my parents old slides downloaded onto disk for my dad's 70th birthday as a surprise. The service was excellent and everything came back perfectly. The cost was 33% of the cost of having the slides scanned here in Ireland and the help of the staff at Digmypics made the decision easy for me to make - sending the pictures across the Atlantic and hoping they got back to me safely - THEY DID. Needless to say my parents were both thrilled and emotional on viewing the slideshow, as it was probably 20 years since they had seen the shots.
