"This is actually the third time I am using the Dig My Pics Transfer Service. All three times the final outcome was totally satisfying. The service was fast and the support staff was extremely helpful. I had two rolls of film that were extremely dark and I had never seen them before. Unfortunately dig my pics was not able to brighten the film for viewing, but they told me that I would not be charged for these rolls even though I had asked them to try. Whenever I had a question the response was quick, courteous and acted upon. The DVD's look like I just took them yesterday. The only problems are my mistakes of focus and not enough light. As I said this is my third batch of film and I have another batch being processed as I write this. I also have many old reels from my father-in-law dating back to the early 1950's. The enhancing is fantastic and the price is very reasonable especially when you can once again see the memories of the past brought back that you thought were lost forever. "I sent in 400 slides from when my parents were newly weds in Germany in the 70s. (a Christmas present for my mom) Needless to say, these slides carry a LOT of sentimental value for me, but I felt like they were in safe and caring hands at digmypics. The customer service was excellent, with regular updates on the process and prompt correspondence. I had a blast looking over all of the slides in progress, which are uploaded live. The colors all came out beautifully in the finished copies (while still retaining the vintage authenticity of the images). "I decided to back up a lifetime of family photos (almost 1,000 pics) and thought about scanning them myself. After a short period of time, I realized this was an incredibly daunting task. I researched companies and found digmypics had great reviews and they would keep my pics inside the US. The process was easy and digmypics kept me in the loop through every step. They even sent me each person's name in the company as they did their part with my pics. Everything went quickly and I had my pics scanned, disk made, downloaded a backup over the internet and had my pics back in hand right on schedule. "Years ago, it was less expensive to have film developed as slides rather than prints. And, prints faded over time. I had boxes and boxes of old slides--most pretty bad photos. But, In the 20-30 boxes of slides I sorted, I found 70 that looked like they had some promise. Photos of old pets I didn't know where there have come to life. Pictures of family members long gone. The quality of the digital images is SUPERB. Can't recommend this service highly enough! They did a great job with my small project and have made a huge impact on maintaining my family's memories!"

Their ongoing communications with regard to status of the process and the quality of the finished scans are all great. The capper was getting an after it was all over email reminding me to check on the files I received, make sure they all look good and to back them up. "We were really pleased with the results we got in transferring our old slides to an SD card. The color & focus enhancement was surprisingly good, in spite of being 62 yrs. old. The whole process went very smoothly & the wait to view the scanned slides on our own computer was very reasonable. I will be using digmypics again as I have boxes of slides from my military service in the far east as well as family slides from the 50's & 60's. "
