"I was surprised that our local drug stores do not have a service to make pictures out of slides, alas, old slides from the 1960s are passe. Online search led me to digmypix and called for guidance. I wish to remember the reps name, maybe Karen, maybe not. She was johnney of the spot helful and I mailed the slides that day in hopes of surprising my husband of 52 years with pictures of early years at University of Oklahoma and from our wedding. We had NO pix of our wedding. After our zippy and fun Mom died at 93 my incredible sister sifted her house dutifully. She is scientific, organized and a swell sister. When she found slides she sent them to me in a surprise package and viola! I have a disc now with wedding pictures and days of yore. The DVD is top quality, the pictures that I made at CVS are top quality and I now can look and laugh on the computer, one my phone and in an album. We have had an interesting, academic and engaging married life and to savor the day of our marriage is truly fun. I sent notes by email, received timely responses and am delighted with the service of this quality business."

"I recently sent slides dating back to the 50s, 60s and 70s to be converted to DVD. I was hesitant because they represent almost all of the remaining pictures of my family from my childhood. I was able to track every step of the process and watch as they were being digitally scanned into their system. I was amazed at the quality of images they were able to coax from the poorly cared for slides and ordered dvds for each of my siblings as well as for me along with the album. "DMP made the scary process of sending off my APS,old video tapes,and cassettes much much easier. When my box got there I was informed immediately! At each stage they let me know what was next. The quality of my disks are great (especially considering what they had to work with). After I got the disks and checked them, I called to ask about getting extra copies of a few disks and in 2 minutes or less was done. The extra disks were on their way to me in 2 hours and 6 minutes. I had no problem with the time it took to scan my stuff to digital! It was not long at all, but still this is not something you should wait to do if you need the disks done and back in 2-3 days -- that is ridiculous. I couldn't be more pleased. the holders they send the disks back in are great to store the disks permanently. Thank you DMP!!"

"It is very scary to send off family photos that are an important part of your memories for fear that they'll be lost. Dig My Pics kept me in the loop of each phase of their production from receipt of the pictures to scanning, to shipping the pictures back. I particularly liked the ability to review each picture they scanned to accept or discard it. The images were high quality and in many cases seemed better than the photos that I sent! I didn't discard a single photo. Dig My Pictures scanned 600 pictures for me, sending them back to me within 3 weeks along with the DVDs, and providing a link to download all the pictures to my photo software. The quality of the digital images is exceptional - I can't tell the difference between them and digital photos I download directly from my camera. "I have been avoiding any big projects related to hundreds and hundreds of slides. When I found digmypics it was like a dream come true. I trusted them with quite a few boxes of slides from my first European trip in 1968 and they did such a good job. In every step along the way I could pick up the phone and a very nice person would answer my questions or walk me thru different stages of the process. The online website was pretty easy for me as an older person, but sometimes there was a glitch. For me it is invaluable to ask a question of a real, live person.
